I have the same tools, including an 8 inch one that I can use on the carpet.

I use a big car washing sponge. It does an great job, but you have to get down on the floor and use a little elbow grease.

I love mine too. Got it at Harbor Freight, but they have not had them for a while (they were pink). I just run them under the water, then roll them on a towel and they are good to go again!
