I love the advanced newbie, so many different things still to learn that I don't think I'll ever get to advanced.

Maybe we should set guidelines so we know what we are. newbie? veteran? How many quilts before you are a veteran or experienced quilter? I still feel like a newbie despite 7 years of quilting but few quilts done completely.

I suppose I'm a tweener - there is always something new to learn each day.

"if you're green, you're growing. if you're ripe, you rot."

i'll always be a newbie. i accepted, many years ago, that perfection was a burden i would never be required to bear. nor will i ever be a complete"expert" in anything beyond eating chocolate. but i'll keep trying, and i'll keep learning 'till the day i shuffle off this mortal coil!

i'm a perpetual kid, too. goes hand in hand with quilter in training--or newbie in over her head!

I've been sewing over 30 years, and I'm still learning.I think anything worth doing takes continual learning.Besides so many new gadgets and patterns and techniques coming out, there is always something new to learn.

I don't know what class I would be in I've been sewing for 57 years and been quilting for 45 years. Started with plain squars nothing fancy back then. Have progressed to more complacated and enjoyed every step of the way.Still have a long way to go.

Your one of US!! You belong as well as anyone without
a title or classification. I think that's the purpose of this board.
