I have been lurking and reading and learning for the past few days on the board and I noticed the use of "novice" or newbie and "veteran". I was wondering if there was an in-between? I started sewing when I was 9 but didn't start making quilt tops until 2007 and I haven't quit since. So I've made several (a ton in my book lol) quilts but not as many as I know I will.

Just wondering!

I have been sewing/quilting since 6 so I have had 32 years under my belt. I am in no way a novice I agree with the tweener statement!!

I'm never going to be a veteran or advanced quilter. i'm happy to be intermediate or even beginner on some things.

I have been sewing for 55 years and quilting for 20 years. I still consider myself a newbie. I can't imagine even trying some of the beautiful quilts that are posted on here. I just enjoy making simple pattern quilts for my family.
