Then there was a discussion with DH and sad references to my beloved current Pfaff being 19 years old and hints about even a Rolls Royce reaching the end of its natural life. The pitch must have been okay, because we then went to the bank and made arrangements and I had my lesson on Thursday. Got the new beauty on Friday, devoured the manual Friday evening and started playing on Saturday. What utter joy! Luckily by best friend is also a quilter and has the same model so you can imagine how much fun we had during our usual Saturday sewing session.

I also got a huge bag of Zwicky threads, needles and extra spools at some discount.

Having to leave home this morning was very tough, not only because winter has set in, but also because I have to wait nine hours before hitting my sewing haven tonight.

Thanks for sharing my joy and happiness.
Doing the "HAPPY DANCE" for you. Enjoy!!!

When you said winter is setting in I had to look up where you are. Gosh, Namibia? I learned that it's in South Africa. You're so far away from me yet this site gives us all a common bond. Congrats on your new machine.
