I also love the binding part. It is my final touch to a quilt.

I was at my local Janome dealer looking for this special binder. The only one that would fit my Janome9000 was a generic make. I took a quilt and binding to the store so they could demo for me. It did not work. They had a binder for a Bernina that, describing, stood on its side with the binding held up then it folder into the binder. Not buying a new machine just for that.

For someone who makes lots of quilts it would be great. But I'm lucky to make one a year so it'd sit in the drawer for a long while before I got to use it.

I have a binder for my Janome 6600. I think they also make them for the Horizon 7700. I don't know about the other machine manufacturers.

I don't mind doing binding, when it minds me.
GOD bless!

It also comes with a DVD as well as written instructions. I don't have one but have seen it demoed and know people who use it on their machines and love it. As far as I know, it can be used with pretty much any machine.
I have the Martelli, never used it. Still in the box. It is one of the items I am going to post on e-bay.
