Yea . . . . I know the whole historical swastika thing . . . . But it's for my exs birthday and I just got on his Jewish fiancé's good side . . . . So hysterically bad form!

The same thing happened to me when I made a baby quilt from one of the disappearing blocks, can!t remember which one. I saw it right away when I layed out the block so I changed it. It was not intentional but I sure did not want to offend anyone.

NOTHING that is a quilt and is finished is called a failure. You might have made an error in the placement of your colors but we have ALL learned by our mistake. The other item I have notice is that usually the stitch length of machine quilting is about a 2.5 or 3. Your stitching appears to be a little small. Keep up the good work.

I just don't see a swastika at all. Because of the contrast in colors the white fabric sorta makes a cartwheel. But I do like the green binding better. Also I'm glad to hear others say that potholders are a little hard to make. I thought it was just me. The binding and the quilting was hard for me. Next time I will round the corners and do straight line quilting.
