I'm glad you mentioned that. After I researched the symbol, I accepted the previous history and no longer associate it with the Nazies. I prefer to not allow bad people to bombard my mind the rest of my life. They aren't worth it.

The green redo is so much prettier. The black was a bit funereal with the white cross in the centre.

First...the blocked looked fine and never even thought of it as a symbol...and still don't. I agree with binding for potholders they are hard and that is the only time I will do the birthing of a quilt methold.

Wow! Are you saying it will be easier when I bind an actual quilt?? The only quilt I've finished was birthed and tied. This is exciting news!
