My nephew found out I was getting machines for virtually nothing and cleaning them up and checking them out and some are no count so he brought me a brother machine the other night. I know nothing about it except it was free and the case cover has a design on it and it weighs a ton. Haven't had too time too check it out and see if it needs anything done too it. It will be a while before I can lift it around and play around with it. One day I hope too do good with my sewing and have a good machine and serger!

How exciting!! I am a new quilter. My Singer is over 30 years old. It still does a good job though. I want a new machine since I am addicted now to quilting. But, I have no idea what to look for when buying a new machine to use for quilting. Hope you enjoy your new addition.

 I love getting a new machine. Enjoy and take the time to learn all the controls, bells and whitsals. Give it a new name. Let us know what your new baby is called.
