I did a black and white with turquoise by using the disappearing block pattern. It worked out beautifully. This is an Eleanor Burns pattern. There are several other names for it as well.

I happen to take a picture of this quilt a few weeks ago at the NW Quilt show in Portland, Oregon. I thought it looked like a fun easy quilt to make. Good luck in your search.

Welcome to the board from Ann Arbor. Where are you located here in the "mitten"?

I made a black, white and red quilt using the card trick pattern. Have also done the black, white and lime green.

Ann, I like your balance of the colors, not to dark and not too bright however, a very nice result.

Helen welcome from Arizona...I haven't made a black/white/red quilt but if you want suggestions you've come to the right place. There's more knowledge here than on any other site you'll find.

Best of luck with your project and will be looking for the finished pictures.
Andie :-) :-) :-)
