The magazine is more a quilting booklet then a magazine.

I like the magazine but truthfully I kind of miss the ads.

I've only picked up a couple from the LQS (liked the Modern Block best) and have made one quilt. They are very nicely done, but I'm the weird one here--I do like the ads in the other magazines--from weird notions that I am intrigued by, to adds for new fabric lines Block seems more like a pattern book to me; i typically don't bother with the "stories".

I took it when it first started out but it didn't seem to have the full patterns for all quilts in it. i don't necessarily want to watch a tute on their site.

A blogger put an index thru 2015 together and posted it. Not sure who maintains list for more current.

I also have all from the beginning & enjoy them. I also like that I can check the video if I have a question on how to put things together. Not the fault of the pattern, more that I have a brain freeze & need a boost. There is a list of video/block pattern.

Haven't received a issue for quite a while. I think they have lost my information and that's just as well. 'Nuff said.

I subscribed when they first started BLOCK, but stopped after just a few issues. It took too long to get the magazine at the publication date and there were too many mistakes in the patterns. There are too many free patterns online to pay for patterns.

I like it. However, I find that the quilts tutorials are given free on her site and more in depth. Nothing new except the stories etc. that are fun.
