Default Block placement gone wrong!

What to do, what to do?!? Making a boy and girl quilt for twins and After quilting the boy quilt discovered that I have a square turned the wrong direction for the pattern. Should I rip out the quilting and try to fix or leave as is? How easy/hard might that be? It's 3 rows from the bottom and about 1/3 of the way toward the middle from the side. The idea was for them to be identical except for color.

It's such a busy pattern that to my eye, it doesn't stand out. I Finally found the half square white/black stripe block that is the culprit. Personally, since you are at the stage you are at, if it were my quilt I would leave it.

However, if it bothers You a lot, then start ripping.

By all means though, do not feel obliged to point it out to the recipient.

Thank you--yes, that's the culprit! It Is a busy pattern, it's Rocksteady by Suzy Quilts--and I didn't even see it until I was trying to follow the 'S'--and you know, step back and enjoy the finished quilting. I almost started ripping last night--but I've spray basted and I wondered how much I would stretch everything trying to get to it. And if I leave it, I don't plan on pointing it out!

I would have to study your pictures very carefully to pick it out. Don't worry about it! Beautiful quilts!

Thank you for the compliment! I guess when You know you're mistake your eye is just immediately drawn to it--I very much appreciate your response!

I personally had to look and look and look to find it. I would leave it alone. And, truly, if you hadn't pointed out that there was a mistake, I never would have noticed it. But, if it bothers you, you can take it out and turn it. But, it is going to take some time. So, really, it is up to you.

They are both very striking. They look great!!

It isn't really noticeable but if it bothers you, you can piece a replacement piece and ladder stitch applique over the offending spot.

I pride myself on being very good at playing "spot the difference" between 2 pictures but this one had me stumped for quite a while.

It is certainly not obvious to those who are not told.

Please let us know if you decide to make it "your Amish" Quilt or change it.

I've been staring at it and from that photo I have yet to spot the difference!

edit: Just found it but honestly I don't think most people will ever notice 'in real life' unless they were told to hunt for it and even then.... I would leave it

Ya'll make me feel so much better about it! Thank you so much for the kind words! I'm not quite sure my hand sewing is up to par enough to applique over it--but that is something I hadn't thought of. Maybe the parents will be so busy with the babies they won't have time to play "spot the difference!" That made me laugh--I hadn't actually thought about those!
