This is new to me, so a simple question for clarification: Do you mean the blocks are to be the picture of a star or stars? (At least I understand the blue and white fabric rule.) I'm just a little unsure about what is meant. Thank you!

like an ohio star for example in blue and white fabrics..
there are many different piece star blocks to choose from. It is your choice which on you want to do.
When you get them back you will have one of 12 different stars to make into a sampler type quilt
Does that help? let me know if not.

Hey Judy,
I'm looking thru Quilter's Cache and my own books here. When you run swaps, do you ask us to publically choose a block so that others know that one's already taken? Or doesn't it matter if we get a duplicate because it will be a sampler-type quilt anyway? :)

If we get more that 12, I will try to put similar blocks in different sets
