    Default border pole sashing

I am looking for some help on how to make a border pole sashing to go around a block. I have made my strips but can't figure out how to join them at the tops & bottoms? Can anyone give me some help on this?

Are you asking about a stripe fabric used for sashing around the block? If this is the case, you will need to miter the corners and change the direction of the stripe as it goes around the block to continue the pattern. A picture would help as I am not sure what you are asking.

I have been quilting since the early 80s and have never heard the term "border pole sashing" before.

I think she might have meant "barber" pole? Is that correct?
