WOW!!! That is one amazing EPP ... those small diamonds especially look tricky!! Love the pattern.
Personally .. I'd like to see a little more contrast between the quilt top and the border. It blends a little too much and doesn't do the top justice. How about either a white or a very dark brown? You can then put an outer border around it to "frame" it all.

Personally , I think white would be a better choice There would be more contrast with piecing. Since you have some white it would also give a continuity.

imho, the bottom one allows the beautiful pattern to show. This as going to be a stunning quilt and I have only scene one little corner. I am looking forward to seeing the grand finish.

I like the blue best. I think the tan is not enough contrast to show off your lovely EPP whereas the blue shows it off beautifully. (IMHO) it is going to be an amazing quilt no matter which border you choose.

Personally I would put one more hex in the deep indentations and then bind the zigzag edge in dark brown. Or even leave the edge as it is and bind -- have to be bias for the binding but would make a truly original quilt.
