    I love it and my grandmother use to make them years ago she died in 1977 at age 56. I know she always called it FIELD OF DIAMONDS. She use to quilt so much to help raise her 14 children. Brings back good memories of her.Thanks for sharing.

    I vote blue...it has contrast and pulls the blue from the diamonds. The tan seems to "fade away". IMHO. Whatever you choose, it is simply beautiful. Lots of work!!! You should be proud!

    I agree with the tan choice -- it makes the rest of the quilt really pop. Nice work.
