The brown border frames the blocks beautifully.

The brown inner border frames it well. I prefer that version.

Oops.... I was late in first response ... board members are SOOOO fast in responding at once....

I checked back to page 2 ... Yes, I agree ... putting the brown as the first inner border bleeds into the basic pattern too much .... your first configuration is better ....

I tried that arrangement and posted the picture on page 2 but in my opinion it didn't turn out quite as attractive as the neutral inner border, especially when I remove the lines in EQ7. I'll try to get another picture without the lines when I get home from work. :)

The one with the brown, using all three solids looks great to me.

I actually tried that setup on page 2 and I think it made the colors feel too "heavy" in some way. Thank you, though! All of the fabrics are so soft... I can't wait to finish my current UFO so that I can move on to this project.

I would definitely use the brown, but perhaps make it an inch or so wider than the cream. Lovely fabric choices!

I love your version with the narrow brown border (first one on p.2). I love the warm wishes pattern and your colors and fabric choices are so pretty :)
