    Default Bow Tucks Interfacing question

I have made 2 so far but want your opinion.....I would like it to have some more body than what the FF provides even tho I do quilt them somewhat. If I do a layer of med weight interfacing before ironing on the FF then quilt will get more body (stiffness)???

I always use 987F and Decor Bond and it makes a nice, stiffer body. I iron the Decor bond on before the 987F.

That is what I used too since I wanted the purse to be able to "stand alone'!!!

Try Soft and Stable. It is a foam covered with a thin Fabric on each side. Sews like a dream and gives stability without weight

I use Pellon 971F....works great and purses stand by themselves.

I too love Soft and Stable. It's not cheap but it's a really good stabilizer and it washes well. And you don't iron it on so you don't get the "puffies" you get sometimes when you iron a stabilizer on and then wash it. You can also use headliner fabric you can get at places like Joann's. I prefer the Soft and Stable, though.

I agree with the "Soft and Stable" I used this for a couple of totes and its wonderful - I love the stability and the softness - and its easy to sew - I think you will really like it.
