Welcome Tonsau7 from Argentina.
I always find that going out shopping or ordering some new material gets me motivated to start sewing something new.
There are so many talented people on this board. Just go to Pictures and look at some of the outstanding work they all do, that should inspire you.

Yes jump in and get started. But be careful, this board is an addiction all its own.

I was visiting son in Texas and was able to buy quarter yards cheaply and brought home a small bag full of stitched hexagons. I am having lots of fun doing them, I just hope sewing the rows together isn't to difficult.

Welcome to the board. Look through some magazines and visit a shop with your sister It will help inspire you. How about making a baby quilt to donate to the premie ward at your local hospital or a small lap quilt for someone in a nursing home. Set a small goal and smile when you reach it!
