Just what I was thinking. Great suggestion.

I think this is a great idea. I often keep reading posts to see whether the poster of a picture gives the name of the pattern but I usually do not see this type of response. Could it be that the person who made the quilt does not wish to give that information?

Glad you made the suggestion. I have been wondering why folks haven't been doing this.

I think many do not use a pattern.

However, I WILL say this --- I have posted pictures, credited the designer, stated where I got the pattern, etc...and STILL have people asking me where I got the pattern or what is the pattern!!!!

It would save a lot of time reading thru posts or waiting for the poster to respond. It would also help eliminate all of us asking the same question multiple times. What do you think?
Best idea yet

I absolutely agree. I asked about a pattern over 2 weeks ago and still have not gotten a response. Maybe she doesn't want to share the pattern???

I think it is a good idea. If there is no pattern you can always say you made it up as you went along. Which is pretty much what I do with everything.

I agree completely. Please post the pattern or designer. I have seen so many things on here I would love to make.
