You have many good suggestions here and lots of variety of ideas. One of my favorite bindings is bias cut stripe fabric and I think it would be very attractive on your quilt.

Flange binding with stripe as the tiny part is the way I would go

I think the red dot would look nice and frame it out.

If you cut the black and white on the bias I think it would look really good. I also like the idea of a darker red!

How about a pink border and a red binding? Since its a wall hanging you could just do WOF strips instead of bias strips. That wouldn't waste so much fabric.

I guess I'm the lone one who likes the pink, especially if this is to go on a pink wall. The pink does not compete with the pretty hearts that are the focus of the piece.

I agree with quiltf, go with a deep red and it will really make it stand out. The red you have chosen seems to bright.
