Default Christmas! BERNINA 440 QE!

My mom gave me a Bernina 440 QE for Christmas!!! Maybe now it will push me to get motivated for some quilting. I only did free motion quilting one time ever on my other machine so I'm hoping the BSR will help me. Who has one and likes the BSR. I'm also intimidated by setting tensions. My Viking sets the tension automatically when I sew. I've never had to adjust it so I hope I don't have to mess with it often.

You have a wonderful MOM. You will always think of her and she will love the gifts you make.

You are very fortunate and have a wonderful mother. That's the kind of gift that keeps quilting alive.

The little booklet that is in the tin that holds the bsr foot is very easy to read to set up the foot for the bsr. It is easy and fun to do. Once you start playing with it, you will look for projects to play with the foot again. Congratulations on you new "toy". Have fun with it.

Congratulations! You have a wonderful machine. I love my 440 QE and the BSR. Take advantage of any classes available from a dealer near you. There are simple Webinars at the Bernina site on the computer web too. There is a nice big instruction book that comes with the machine to get you started with the BSR.

Congrats!!! I love my 440qe... You shouldnt have to play with the tension at all with the bsr. Or I have never had to anyway!!! Have fun..
