It is a great joke at my house about which male has to sleep in Grandma's pink room. My craft/sewing room is painted hot pink and has cutesy fairy curtains. Whoever draws the short straw and has to stay in there gets teased mercilessly all weekend. In secret I don't think they hate it that much. It is the quietest room in the house and has a large TV with DVD player ... just right for their video games. It makes for those wonderful family memories that the kids will be talking about for years and DH and I love it.

this is funny! I've been spending the day cleaning my sewing room but doing the exact opposite of you. My daughter will be moving out next week and I'm getting all her stuff out of my sewing room so I can actually move around in there!

Enjoy your company. I'm sure you have missed them terribly.

I will be posting before and after pics in a few days. All of you have inspired me with your gorgeous sewing rooms!

Enjoy your company and I'm glad it is you and not me. We have no room for visitors and I'm not good at it any more.
Clean is always good, finally got our bedroom springed this Sat.

Shamrock, that sounds like my life right now -- but for me it's only 2 weeks. Grandson and granddaughter are here visiting, and I have to put away all the sewing things so he can live in that room. It's all worth it to have them visit!

Wow, you must really love them a LOT! Hand sewing can be lots of fun too while you chat and visit and drink lemonade.

Enjoy your company! Quilting and sewing are lovely, but family is best!
