I just tried them today for hemming some shirt sleeves that I made from long sleeve into short sleeve. I wanted 1/2 inch turned under and the clips are 1/2 inch when all the way on the fabric. Worked slick and I didn't even have to measure. I'm sold

I haven't seen these....they look neat. I bet they are easier to use. I've started to not use anything with my bindings. No pins, no clips, I just take my time and guide it all by hand.

I have this problem too, but it is worth it to use these great clips. I will borrow your idea though...if I can figure out which is the top!

That amazon price is even better than jhittlesewing.com. They are about an inch long and have 1/2" and 1/4" marks on them. My husband and son use one each to clip their ipod earphones on their clothes.

Just started using the 10-pack I ordered when Connecting Threads had a 20% off notions sale recently. Love them! I bought them after reading so many positive comments on the board and if anyone is thinking of trying them, do it.

I use to think the hair clips worked just great until I did try these clips. You won't know if you try them for yourself. I use them whenever I need any type of clip.

They are wonderful. I also used them to hem some jeans. They worked great.
