how much time do you have? can you do a solid orange block with "creamwork" embroidery? or textile paint work? that way, you don't have to wrack your brain over what matches. or cut out leaves in various colors and machine or needle turn applique them onto the orange solid.

Orange is my favorite color. It works beautifully with autumn colors and I once did a Halloween quilt of primarily orange and a purple print with scarecrows on it -- the orange and purple looked great together.

Your Dreamsicle idea is more conservative but brings happy childhood memories. I can taste one now.

Hi - I made a scrapy, strippy quilt using orange, black, just a touch of green, gold and a little red. Came out great! I like orange!

why poison other colors when you could let white take the hit???
