Wow girl! No idea about the pattern. I would love to learn how to shoot just for the sport aspect but it is good to learn to be able to protect yourself and loved ones too. It is great you are getting the proper training. I just became a black belt in taekwondo along with 6 of my children another 3 are working their way up through the belts, great excercise and great defensive skills.

I have been packing for over 28yrs . I like to hunt, Target practice especially with my mom, dad, bro's, & son d/law Grandson . We have all taken all the necessary course . But I have always had a cple pistol around plus a few rilfes never know in this day age . My Dad is 93yr he taught us all how to use & respect a gun. Really need to see this purse might make some for Christmas.

My daughter has her brown belt in Karate and her boyfriend is a second degree black belt. I am thankful for the training they have received. Training is definitely the key. I was scared of guns till last year. Now I have a healthy respect for them.

I love to target practice but I can't ever see myself hunting...but who knows...with the way the world is going....I might need to learn to hunt. I feel confident in my abilities to defend myself in my home. But without the proper training that I am attending I wouldn't have that confidence.

Lelsie, I think it is a wonderful question and I think it would be a great thing to make. I will be watching to see if anyone is able to find the pattern.

I am so glad ya thought to ask this question. I have been searching the net for an affordable one that looks like something I would actually like carrying! They are so expensive and rather telling, imho, as they all look so boxy and just scream "I have a gun in here!". LoL! Will check the other thread listed to see what I can find out. I do know that a local shop here carries the holster insert for purses seperate so it musta been done by someone already.

Still hopin' that someone can help me out on a pattern.

Leslie :D
I second that. I've been shooting for quite a long time. Actually got my pistol permit when we were staying in a cabin in the mountains. Loved picking blueberries, but so did the bears. Lighter than lugging around a shotgun.

The Pattern is a "Maddie Bags", but if you go to Google search : "Sewphisti-Cat", you'll find it. Thanks so much, Leslie for asking the question. Oh the number of the pattern is SC-#13
