I have ordered fabric and kits from CT, never had a problem. They are very generous with the fabric in the kits.

I highly recommend them. The solids are great and also their threads. Che k out their clearance section as well.

I buy from CT all the time and love their fabrics. They have great sales, 40% off basics now. I also get my batting there during their sales. The fabric is not low quality. But then I am also a WM shopper too, I buy lots of fabrics there because they are close and I can find great deals (love the clearance bins). I have tried shopping at LQS, but can't afford the pricing. And I have found very thin crappy fabrics there too!

I've been a CT customer for awhile. I haven't been disappointed in the quality and am pleased with the prices. The flannel is the better than that I've found anywhere else...it is so cuddly after washing! :-) My only difficulty with CT is that sometimes the colors aren't quite what I think they'll be and I'm not sure if that happens during the printing of the catalog or if it's just my perception. My most recent order was fat quarters of the patriotic fabrics. All sturdy and they are a pleasure to cut and sew.

If you like the looks of the fabric in the catalog, place an order you can easily afford. Check it out when it gets there. You'll probably like it, but you might not. In general terms over the years when this question has been asked, the majority of the board seems happy with Connecting Threads.

Asking for fabric quality recommendations is like being set up on a blind date. They guy your friend thinks you will hate may be the one you marry and vice versa.

This thread was funny. I agree if you like connecting threads that's great. Haven't tried buying from them yet, but I may. I buy different qualities of fabric, but always try and put a few fabrics that are super nice in every quilt. Just staying in my budget, but not when I make quilts for my Granddaughter's. I am a Walmart hater because the store just gives me a bad headache and I always feel so bad for the poor people working their. Hey to each our own.

I like their fabrics, but I also like to shop locally if I can, just to keep my local shop in business.

I have shopped CT for a couple of years now and have been happy with all of my fabric purchases.

I agree. Love the designs though.
