There's a LOT of different blocks that are variations of the log cabin block. I've seen a quilt made with each block a different log cabin and it was beautiful. I think the woman that made it called it "Heritage Village", "Log Cabin Village" or something like that. It was a scrappy quilt with each block being made of different fabrics but all the chimneys were some sort of dark red.
