Embroidery Designs is a site that sells designs from many different digitizers. Some are good others less so. It is easier to judge a site that has designs created by a single person or single team like Embroidery Library or designs by SICK. Since the same digitizer(s) created every design it's easier to judge the quality.

I have purchased from Embroidery Library and their designs stitch out beautifully. They have free designs every month, so that would be a good place to test their designs. I have a Singer Futura CE-350 (when it isn't in the shop) and it connects to my pc via usb cable, so no discs are required.

Read your machine manuel. You need to know what extension to download, and it is so much easier to get the correct one to begin with. Some where is should say you need to use PEC or SEW or HUV or some thime like that. Then when you go to Annthegram and you pick a free design (lots of great ones) you will know which one to pick. Also you will need to know how to transfer between your computer and your sewing machine. Does it use a cable, a card or a USB flashdrive....they all seem to be different. Good Luck

Lot's of sites that have free designs here are some of my favorites...Designs by Sick, Cute Embroidery, Stitch it Cheap, Embroidery Library, Cute Alphabets, Splinters and Threads, Bunnycup. That should get you started. While you are checking them out you will probably find more. Enjoy!!!
