Pardon my ignorance, but what does one do with a rice bag?
you heat it up in the microwave and use it like a heating pad or you can make it cold.
Ah... so is it big, like a heating pad? How long will rice hold cold or heat?

You can make them any size you want, but usually they are about 12 x 9 or something like that.

You can heat them up in the microwave and put them around your neck for warmth or anywhere on your body that needs some heat. Or you can freeze them for when you are hot in the summer and put them around your neck. Some just heat them up and put them in the bed to be warmer.
