I sent this to Kimmie by private message, but thought you-all could use these ideas too - apologies for duplicates!
KEYS:
- what will people BUY (not everyone needs another pin
cushion or scissors case or eyeglass case ... but if it's
spectacularly different, it'll sell)
- offer different color choices (brights, country, batiks)
- keep the patterns simple
- find things to make using orphan blocks (our guild
collects orphan blocks and UFOs monthly exactly for
this type of craftmaking for annual fundraising)
candle/centerpiece mats (hexagonal, octagonal, round)
small wall hangings (9x12, 10x13)
coasters, totes, stadium seat covers in local team colors
casserole carriers
table runners (no longer than 24" to fill most tables)
thermal lunch totes (use thermal batting)
book covers (foundation pieces, applique, patchwork)
notebook covers (same as book covers but for notebooks you'd take to class)
four-sided placemats (can sell singly as a centerpiece mat)
