Have fun, there are no hard and fast rules for this technique :-D

Izy, I love your tutorial!
Brilliant! I went on to make a kingsize on point for my son and his girlfriend as she fell in love with this first one! Here's a link to it after I quilted it:

I am currently working on the tiniest 3.5" finished crumb blocks all in pink...not sure what it will turn into as all my quilts just evolve LOL

Haha ...I told you we had similar taste Scraphappy!! I have crumb blocks on the go at the moment that finish at 3.5" in all shades of pink and cream...crushed strawberries and cream would be an apt name for whatever they become, I will take some pics and show you if you like!

I love, love, love crumb blocks and usually end up making the 3 1/2" size because of the size pieces I use. The tutorial posted on page 1 is the same way I make mine blocks, but it's really individual...whatever you enjoy and what looks pretty to you? Happy "crumbing"! :)

Here's my first crumb doll quilt I made.
Thanks to Ronda for helping me. :D
They are addicting, I've got more started to make a larger quilt.
