I have an HQ16 and wouldn't trade it for the world. After I priced out having quilts quilted, I decided I could justify the cost. There is a learning curve that I for one never thought about, but once I practiced a bit, I was hooked! I do an occasional quilt for a friend, but I don't want to get bogged down in customer quilts and not get what I want to do, done! :-) That's the selfish side of me speaking! LOL!!

I own a Gammill Optimum Statler Stitcher but it is a few time, plus, job. Very little time to quilt my own quilts.

Most LA's cost more than my first home so I do not own one but it is a dream that someday I will be able to have one.

My only "long arm" is connected to my shoulder and has a thimble on the end of one of it's fingers. :-) And I LOVE using it to quilt. It's done many, many quilts and I hope it continues to offer good service for a very long time. :-)

I have a Tin Lizzie 18 bought used. I have quilted 3 quilts on it and some practicing. It is going to the shop tomorrow as it will pick up the bobbin thread but won't stitch for some reason. Not sure what has happened. I was using Gutterman thread and it kept breaking on me.
