The pattern in called Victorian Table Runner and you can get it at your LQS probably or you can order it on line at several shops. Clotilde.com has it. Or there is another runner similar to this one called Tulip Bells Table Runner...I don't know who the designer is. I looked for it to buy at my LQS and she had run out of the pattern, so I'm ordering it. It is lovely, isn't it?

techniques can't be copyrighted. they must be patented. this technique would be difficult to patent because it's based on the one used to form the arches in cathedral windows quilts.

Thank you Patrice. I am not interested in breaking any laws here.

Here are the pictures of making the pieces for this quilt. She has several patterns out. I got mine at the LQS.

The triangles are folded squares over a full square, so there is a lip you fold back and tack down like in Cathedral windows. I hope that makes some sense. It is a real slick trick and makes a great design. Looks lots harder than it is.

The pictures came up before I got my reply typed! Great job of showing the technique.

<drool> What a gorgeous quilt! Okay, who do I send the stink eye too? I have a ton of projects and yet now I feel compelled to go out and find this pattern. What a beauty! Thanks for sharing.
