Default cutting board's day in the sun!

So, I laid my warped cutting board out in the sun on the only piece of concrete close to the house. Almost got all the warps out and went to look for it.

My DH (d is not standing for dear this time!) picked it up and to "protect it" laid it over a big chunk of limestone rock. Now it is curled on 4 sides and heaven knows how lumpy in the middle.

Some days you just can't win!

Oh noooooo! Well, it is sunny and hot out still. Give it another shot on the concrete! I'm surprised he didn't ask why it was laying on the concrete to begin with. . . .

Sorry but I can only laugh - that is just the kind of thing my DH would do ) Looks like you should chat him up for a new cutting board!

Have to understand, he was trying to help. God love him for trying. I can understand your frustration, but I am sure he meant well.

Oh, believe me, if I get a new cutting board, he's not in on the decision. It's only about 105 today, so it should flatten out.

I had to laugh, too, after a minute of screaming!

LOL, you've got to under stand, a S/hislastname is always right. If any doubt, check the S rules!

It's hot enough that it should flatten out again.

Rofl you poor thing!! I can just see you standing there, face-palming yourself. I guess there's one small silver lining to the never-ending heat wave y'all are having. What did your DH say when you told him what you had been trying to do?
