I would fold as many times as I think I can cut and then move my ruler as I cut the length. I never rip my fabric.

I need to cut strips 103 x 5 inches. How do I do this in one continuest? folding it makes it too thick. Thanks for your help

Do you have 105 inches in continuous length of fabric? If so, Use your 6 x 24 ruler, cut along one section, then move to the next section. If you don't have 105 in. length you can cut in shorter sections and piece together.

I wouldn't cut that measurement at all, I'd rip it. My goodness what are you making? Borders?
