It is beautiful. Red and black - my favorite color combination.

What an impressive bargello you created!! I go along with a couple of the other gals who have quilted following the curves of the work. It really enhances greatly, does not distract the eye. After all, you went to so much trouble to make curves, why not stick with them? I know mine really improved with the curved quilting, from a flat top to a beautiful curvy art piece. And it is no harder to do. Just use your walking foot and a bit longer stitch length, stitch down every other row of sqs, (backstitch at beginning and end), move over 2 spaces, repeat. Always aim for the next correct intersection, following the color sequence. Easy peasy, as they say. :D :D

follow those flowers...just the outline of each boquet...that will be beautiful.
Other option...do a slightly curving line, following the path of the bargello design.
