I agree - but stitches usually have to go in within the first 24 hours.
Also, adults need an update on their Tetanus shots every 10 yrs.
Good luck - Judy

I never thought about a tetanus shot. I think I will go to the dr. next week and see if he can super glue it and get a tetanus shot at the same time. I haven't had a tetanus shot in over 30 years! And I do have more protection then the glove. I have the suction thingies (2 sizes) and a large plastic retangle with rubber balls on the bottom and a handle on the top. I totally forgot about those. Thanks for reminding me about using all the protection I can. You guys are wonderful and smart!

I haven't heard of gloves to protect your hands. What are they made of?

Ow! Hope you are able to get back to cutting soon! And this is a good example why I always try to remember to put my rotary cutter in the glove before I start any cutting project so I have everything I need. I make it a habit to get all supplies together and lined up before I begin. A little anal that way. Heal soon!

I don't have gloves, so I went to Fons and Porter and did a search for mesh gloves, kevlar, and quilting gloves. The only gloves that came up were the cotton quilting gloves. Do you know who might carry them. I check Clotilde and a glove search there didn't turn up anything.
