Just wondering if quilters ask for certain quilty things for Christmas or would you rather purchase/pick out your own quilt stuff.
I gifted myself 3 Craftsy classes at 50% off and got a Jo-Anns gift card from my enabler daughter who complains about too much fabric in my possession. I don't have any quilters in my immediate family that exchanges gifts...so for me, I prefer to buy my own.

I asked Santa for some stocking stuffers ... Sewer's Aid and some sewing machine needles. Of course quite a few years ago Santa surprised me with my sewing machine that I didn't know I needed or wanted and created the monster I am today!

Merry Christmas all!

Since we recently moved from one state to another, I haven't had a chance to do any quilting. After my husband moved all my tubs of fabric, he said I definitely wasn't getting any for Christmas! I did get some quilting magazines and one jelly roll that I picked out myself and he wrapped. ( I really, really needed it! lol)

Nothing specifically for Christmas but I've been hitting the thrifts and buying sewing stuff pretty often lately. That's close enough for me. I like vintage machines and thrift stores in general so I've been having a lot of fun with this.

Love those Joann's gift cards! I can pick out what I need, plus get a 40-50% discount. It's free and it's a win- win situation.

I told my husband and sons exactly what I wanted. Only one slip up; I knew what I meant but not my son!
I got a new Brother DreamWeaver machine, thread, Tent Makers of Cairo book, and other quilty things.

Aren't they great!

I gifted myself a Kitchen Aide mixer -- it is candy apple red and I love it!! I think I have every gadget known to man and all the fabric and patterns I need or want (until the next really beautiful design catches my eye)!
