This is soooo true. There is a plethora of information here. We've got some of the best here. Even the newbies come up with great ideas sometimes. That's why it's so nice that new quilters come along all the time. New ideas - new ways of doing things. Get some pictures up - anxious to see it.

LOL - I've sooo enjoyed reading everyone's replies. What a fun group of people. I am sewing again tonight. Ready to sew the binding on. Planning to do the handsewing on the binding tomorrow while accompanying my aunt as she drives a few hours north of here to pick up her granddaughter for the weekend. Figure I can do the handsewing on the binding and we can chat while she drives. So I won't have pictures today, but definitely tomorrow afternoon when we get back!

Don't go away, the light still is on, lots of quilting to finish for Christmas, coffee & tea for those who want it, and apparently, lots of company to keep us awake while we quilt the night away!

Just finished the machine sewing part of putting my binding on. Nothing left now but the hand sewing part. It went on fairly easy, again, thanks to all of the tips I got here from all of you. I've got the quilt bagged up, along with a little sewing kit, so I can hand sew in the car tomorrow while on my road trip with my Aunt.

I don't know about you folks, but I'm tired. I've had a total of 6 hours of sleep in the last 2 days. I'm turning off the lights for tonight and going to bed. See you tomorrow!

A method of attaching binding on without pinning. I followed this tutorial that had been mentioned in another thread.
