That "hanging" the quilt idea sounds good to me too - if my bathroom were bigger I'd hang it from the shower curtain rod and do my quilting in there!

I have quilted several large size quilts on my Viking, and have never had a problem. I always use the puddle method, and do it by quarters, but if I try to roll a quilt, OMG, what a mess
