I finally recovered from my "stitched finger" injury and was able to complete the binding on this quilt. I have another one sandwiched, also 12" sampler blocks in subdued colors with dark brown sashing, and think that will work out ok, too. Thank you for all the ideas and encouragement!

You can't actually see the binding, can you? It is something from my stash, an irregular 'stripe' with those orange-ish and gold and beige colors in it. The sashing is actually a very light vanilla color. Too much flash, I guess.
