I notice a lot of people here are doing a version of the disappearing nine patch. Have any of you tried the other "formulas" in the book? I love the one called "Risky Business"

I have looked high and low for that book and haven't been able to find it. You don't by any chance have a copy to sell or know of a source for one? I'd love to see the other variations and I'll never be able to work them all out for myself!

I do not, at this time, have pictures of "Risky Business" My last one was used for a raffle quilt for a school fundraiser and brought in a lot of money in just a few weeks. I will try to make another and post a picture.

That one starts out like Risky Businees, at least the first two cuts. I'll check with my friend when she returns from an extended road trip and see if she can furnish us with a picture of her Risky Business project

a break from the usual Fractured 9-patch

There's also one at Moda Bakeshop called a Christmas Table Topper that uses DS9. Of course, the pattern uses 2 charm packs but just keep adding to make it bigger.n Thanks for the tip about the book.

That one from Moda looks pretty neat! Is that the kind of patterns the book has? I didn't realize there were more variations of it!
