Disappointed in current sewing project

I actually like the second one and bet it will become a favorite of yours after you finish and quilt it. Personally those that I wasn't the happiest with turned out to be my favorites when completed. You can always gift it to someone or donate it. Good Luck:-)

Try your blocks in a different lay out. Try to balance out the colors a different way. That is what I try before I give up for a future date. I take pictures with the camera of the different layouts and then decide how I want to do it. Just looking at the pictures sometimes helps you decide on which layout you like. From someone who has tons of ufos bacuse I find a new blocks design and have to just tryi it out.

I really like the first photo, I think that one is great. I don't like the dark setting triangles in the 2nd photo.
Yes, I've had projects not turn out well. I also made D9P blocks that turned out butt ugly, no saving them for a quilt. I think I'll use them as backing of place mats or something cuz I won't throw them away. Or maybe cut them up some more to add to crumb blocks.

Basically I like it! I like the light corner triangles. Maybe you would like it if you put a couple of borders on it....a small dark inner border and a bit wider outer border (especially nifty if it is one of the quilt's fabrics). Finish it! If you still don't like it, donate it to a charity....some one would LOVE to have it!
