Thanks for sharing this info about the quilt in the ditch foot. I too have a hard time making the ditch stitches nice and straight. After your post and someone else posted a picture....Praise the Lord, I have this foot. Can't wait to use it. That is why this site is s-o-o-o valuable!!!

I went to look at the link....and by golly, I have a foot exactly like that with my New Home machine 20 years ago. It is the blind hem foot. The blade runs along the folded edge of the hem. Easy to use. And I never knew it had another use. Now we all know. thanks for sharing.

Does the ditch quilting foot have a part number. Is is called a Ditch Quilting Foot? I a Janome machine. I would love to find that foot.

It's a Janome brand -- called Ditch Quilting Foot. Says Part # 200-341-002. I found it at the Janome sewing machine store......

I have a stitch in the ditch attachment for my Pfaff and it is wonderful .

I have had it for several years now . Worth every penny you pay for it.

Yes, you can too buy for the Accufeed. I have one....it is an Accufeed SID foot. I love it. Check with you Janome dealer.......not cheap, but worth every penny.....:o)

I got an Acufeed SID foot online from allbrands.com for $29.99, fits Janome and Elna.
