I do a lot of designing when I sleep. When I wake up I can't wait to get started. I do it when I am awake too. I went and had dinner with my boys all I could think was that pattern on that chair would make a nice quilt so I took a pic of it with my phone. I am so sad, I think I need help.

OH my goodness! Me too! When I was at the Lancaster, PA quilt show, they had the most interesting rug, I kept telling my husband, "I just know that is similar to a quilt block I have seen somewhere..." Unfortunately, no one could tell me the name of the block...and believe me I ASKED!!

I don't know if this is dreaming or not, but I solve sewing/quilting problems while sleeping.

Not usually, but a few nights ago I had a dream - I was sewing and saw a rat on my table. Think it's time I clean my room LOL

Ewww gross, I probably would have crawled out of bed and went right to cleaning. I don't like mice or rats.

If I have a hard time falling asleep, I will chart out my next quilt in my mind. Sometimes this works very well and new ideas come into play. Maybe ideas have a great way of entering in our subconscious. LOL

sometimes when I have a problem and have put my project down, the solution will come to me while I'm sleeping, then I can pick it up in the a.m. and finish. So guess I do my best planning in my sleep
