Yes, my mind is like a word video. It is totally due to my being on the quiltingboard so much. I learn so much and want to remember everything. I see so many beautiful creations and look at them over and over in my mind. Sometimes I think I need to dry out so I can get an uninterruped nights sleep. I just haven't been strong enough to resist the temptation yet to do it.

I dream about quilting a lot. A new quilt to make or finishing one I have started. I had a dream about a cat quilt. It had the cutest fabric. The next day I went to the fabric store and they had just got that fabric in. Funny.

"OH ya" I dream about it all the time..... I thought it was my age, but it must be our creativity inside us all that makes us have dreams about it. I even fall asleep thinking about what I'm going to make next.

Since I am a beginner I dream of having quilting abilities that I don't currently have. Do you think if I dream often enough that some day it will become a reality? :D

Honey I been doing quilting for 5 or 6 years and I still can't get those darn seams to line up but I keep dreaming that some day it will happen.

Thanks everybody for your dream stories. Now I don't feel so alone, maybe I will rest better tonight knowing I'm not losing it. Lol

OH definitely!!!!! I go to sleep thinking about the quilting project I am working on, planning new ones, trying to figure out how to work more quilting time into the day, and how if I won the lottery, I could stay home and quilt...hmmm...I really love my job, so maybe, I would just cut back to part time and still have more time to quilt!!!!!!

You know you have it bad when you dream of quilting and resent having to go to work because it cuts into your quilting time. ;-)

Nope, I don't think so. I have 3 sorts of "repeat" dreams (with variations) that have nothing to do with sewing. I'm either back at work (with people who are now dead in reality ... + I haven't worked since the end of 1994) or I'm back to moving into a new home, as we did frequently for 20 years of military life (we quit doing that 29 years ago), or I'm lost and am confronted with an obstacle course and I can't get home. I muddle through and around the obstacles until I finally wake up frustrated.

I can tell you I'd much rather be quilting in my dreams.
