This may be deleted but my husband calls my sewing room the "hell hole" (it can sometimes get a teeny bit cluttered)

"Abbie's Room."

Okay, since my name is Karen, I'll explain. It had always been "Mom's sewing/junk/stash/if-we-don't-know-where-to-put-it-we-throw-it-in-there room." Then I took over my firstborn's upstairs bedroom after she moved out. I tried to christen it "the Second Story Studio." I even thought of painting a sign for the door. Somehow that never stuck. I usually find myself referring to it as "Abbie's Room," and probably always will.

Of course, about mid-November it became "Santa's Workshop Southern Auxiliary." Come December 26, it will just be Abbie's Room again.

LOLOLOL , Everyone!!! I don't ....didn't...have a name for mine, but I'm considering,"Studio Shangrilah" (she says with a toss of her head and a fluttering of her "Loretta Young"scarf as she drifts gracefully upstairs to sew!)

I, too, have a dungeon. It is in the basement and I have enough natural light that I can sew without the electric lights on. However, the moniker is a jest and it was given the title by my husband who answered a phone call from my quilting friend. He explained to her that I was a prisoner down in the dungeon and couldn't talk on the phone or come up from the dungeon until my quilt was done! Of course he was kidding--I was allowed to come up to cook his dinner.
