During the cooler months, I crochet afghans, while watching TV. During warm weather, I do counted cross stitch, thread crochet, or something else that doesn't have to sit on my lap.

I take my PP with me everywhere and when I'm sitting with DH in the evening in front of the TV, I work on it, also. It's a variation of GFG and will probably take me years to complete. At least I won't have to look for something else to do for a long while!

I have hexagons and hand applique to carry to sewing sessions. I have my sewing machine set up in the same room as the TV, so I can always watch and sew.

No. I had to learn how to just relax and not do anything when I injured my right shoulder. A couple of years later I had surgery on that should and was barely even allowed to type for 6 weeks. It's still not 100% so I still have to just do nothing and let it rest pretty often.

I just started a hand appliqued dresden plate project. Plus, a large cross stitch project that is a long term project. They both help when I do not feel like being at the sewing machine or my arthritis is to painful. I also do hand embroidery, but do not have a project at this time.

I like to keep some Red Work on hand to work on. I find it very relaxing to do while I watch TV.

Always have a quilt going to hand-quilt. I'm like others that need something to do with my hands while watching TV. Not getting too much done right now in this heat but it's here!

    Always!!!

Right now I'm English paper piecing blocks from month 2 of Vicki Bellino's Vintage Rouge block a month (Bloom Creek).
I also usually have projects going in needle turn applique and wool penny rugs, even an occasional embroidery project. I can't stand sitting idle in front of the TV. In fact, I don't really watch TV, I listen as I sew.
