Do you know what this pattern is called or where I can purchase it?

LindaM that is an easy one to figure out...it looks like a sq in sq with some extra strips on the sides...then with a 3 stripe block beside it. Then do a strip with a small black sq in the center to line up with the black strip on the block above it...really it's a no brainer...print it out and look closely at the pattern...happy stitchin' crafty_linda_b

The quilt designer is Julie Popa, she has a website at www.juliepopadesign.com. That quilt is published in her book "Beyond Tradition" and is called "Study in Black and White".
You can get that pattern several different ways - order from Julie (which is cheaper than Amazon), order a back issue of the Fons & Porter issue that featured that pattern, or check your library for both.

I'd rather pay the $5 for the mag. then spend the time figuring it out. I don't have EQ as I have a Mac. Thanks for the link I'll order it up!
