I have a dog and a cat that keep watch while I sew. They are very spoiled so there is no keeping them out. If I try to, they whine and bark until I let them come inside. It's a control issue for them. LOL

Well Our Brie hasn't been with us long enough to go into my sewing room but when my poodle was alive he used to come down and supervise my sewing .. He would jump up on me to see how I was sewing, then go over and look at whatever else was in the room, then find a pile of scrap fabric to lay on !LOL the cat used to just watch from the highest she could to irritate him by reaching down and putting her paw on his head.. it was funny to watch

My cat is always in the same room where I am. She loves to sleep on all the quilts I'm working on and she loves to play with anything not nailed down. I always wash my quilts and I keep my floor vacuumed so I don't mind.

My kitty LeLu makes every step I make. She is my constant and best friend. She loves quilting . While I have a big quilt spread out she sleeps under it and doesnt even fuss when I have to move the hoop elsewhere on the quilt. She has a perch in my sewing room and rules her domain from there.

I had a cat but when I sewed she could lay by me or in a bed but never on my material or sewing projects. I could not stand to have a cat or cats all over my stuff. Just me

Our cat thinks it isn't a quilt unless he tries it out first. I don't approve, but sometimes he sneaks in when I leave the room and makes himself at home.
